present Despot Stefan Lazarević as an author rooted in the biblical ethos, inspired by the words of the Bible.
In form and composition, the works of Stefan Lazarević belong to lyrical expression, delivered in the first person. This personal tone pervades almost all the works of the Holy Despot - his words are not mere narration, but the testimony of a soul, a deep reflection on time and destiny. At the same time, on the other hand, in a particular way, in a biblical style, Despot Stefan, wise and devout, leaves through his words a sacred testament to his people: that they should not forget that life in this world is transient, that in it all glory and power shine only for a moment, but that whoever lives in the light of Christ becomes an heir of the eternal Kingdom.
