And I granted that the monastery receive each year one hundred litrae of silver, to the glory and honor of our most pure Lady the Theotokos of Hilandar and of our venerable and God-bearing fathers Simeon and the holy hierarch Sava. By their intercession and by the prayers of the holy fathers who live on the Holy Mountain of Athos - may the all-good God pacify us and comfort us with unfailing consolation. Amen. But let us also add what is customary to a chrysobull, with entreaty and prohibition. Whomever God shall choose to reign over the Serbian land after us, be it a brother or a son or a grandson or anyone of our kin, near or distant, or else, because of our sins, one foreign to our lineage - all these I beseech in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ not to destroy what we have written down and donated, but rather to carry it out as such, awaiting a reward, as we too [await it] from God the Giver of rewards. If anyone dare to destroy this, may the Lord God destroy all his good undertakings here and in the age to come, and may the most pure Mother of God be his avenger on the day of the dread judgment, and may he have no access among our great luminaries and founders, the myrrh-streaming Simeon and the Hierarch Sava, in whom is our hope, but may he be found with all those who destroyed the divine and apostolic and patristic traditions.
